FAQ: Film Developing / Disposable Camera

What types of film and cameras do you accept?

We accept 35mm / 135 film and disposable cameras, in both colour and black and white.

Other film formats, such as 110 or 120, are not currently supported.

We also do not currently offer scanning of film or negatives that have already been developed.

How do I send my film, and how long does it take to receive my photos?

Once your order is placed, you can download your shipping label directly from your customer account. Simply pack your film or disposable camera carefully and drop the parcel off at the indicated pickup point.

Delivery to our lab usually takes 2 to 7 days after the parcel is dropped off.

Once received by our lab, developing and scanning are carried out within:

  • 24 to 48 business hours for colour film;
  • 7 to 10 business days for black and white film.

You won't receive a specific notification when the parcel arrives at the lab, but its status will show as delivered in your order tracking.

If you ordered paper prints, allow a further 2 to 3 business days for delivery.

Can I send several rolls of film or cameras in the same order?

Yes. You can send several rolls of 35mm / 135 film and/or several disposable cameras in the same order.

However, all films and cameras within the same order will share the same options: service type, finish, print size, etc.

If you'd like different options, you'll need to place separate orders.

Why are some photos missing or of poor quality?

Our lab scans every frame from which an image can be recovered, even if the photo is blurry, poorly framed, underexposed or of low quality.

Some frames, however, may be completely unusable, for example when they are:

  • entirely black;
  • entirely white;
  • heavily fogged from light exposure;
  • or when no image was actually recorded on that part of the film.

The number of exposures indicated on a roll of film or disposable camera therefore does not guarantee you'll receive that exact number of files.

You will receive every usable photo present on your film.

What happens if my film is entirely unusable?

If no image can be recovered, we'll let you know via your customer account.

As the developing process was still carried out, the developing service is non-refundable.

However, if you had ordered paper prints, any prints that could not be produced will be refunded.

How will I receive my photos, and can I order prints later?

Your scanned photos are sent to you by email and are also available in a gallery accessible from your customer account.

Files are provided in JPEG format.

You can choose scanning only when placing your order, then order paper prints later from your files.

That print order will then be a new order, with its own shipping costs.

What print sizes are available, and are my negatives returned to me?

Two paper print sizes are available:

  • 10 × 15 cm;
  • 13 × 19 cm.

If you choose the scanning + prints service, your negatives are returned to you.

If you choose scanning only, negative return is offered as an option for €5.99.

Can I change my order, and what happens if my parcel is lost?

If you notice an error in your order, contact us as soon as possible. We'll check what can still be changed depending on how far processing has progressed.

Once the film or camera has been received by the lab, some changes may no longer be possible.

If your parcel is lost in transit to our lab, we'll open an investigation with the carrier and your order will be refunded.
